Mseni Beach Lodge - Your Stay in Sodwana Bay

Mseni Beach Lodge has 16 air-conditioned chalets and self-catering units set in the coastal forest. Bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, and the self-catering units come with well-equipped kitchens. The Two-Bedroom Family Chalet has two en suite bedrooms, and the Four-Bedroom Holiday Home has four bedrooms. Chalets are non-smoking and soundproofed, and daily housekeeping keeps them clean with fresh towels.

Breakfast at the restaurant is a buffet, a Full English/Irish, or vegetarian. Lunch and dinner cover seafood, curries, pizza, burgers, and vegetarian dishes. The bar serves wine, champagne, and cocktails, and the terrace has ocean views over the forest. Special diet menus and kids' meals are available. If you are heading out early to dive, ask for a packed lunch. Self-catering guests can use the BBQ facilities.

The outdoor pool is open all year and has a shallow end, sun loungers, and umbrellas. A fence surrounds the pool area. A walking trail leads through the forest to a beach about 2 km from Sodwana Bay's main beach. Because the currents near the lodge are strong, most guests drive to the main beach for swimming. Staff can arrange diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, and cycling. Amoray and Coral Divers pick up from the lodge, and bicycles can be rented on site.

The lodge sits inside Sodwana Bay National Park and iSimangaliso Wetland Park, 1 km from the Sodwana Bay Gate. Staying inside the reserve means you do not line up at the gate in the morning to reach the beach or dive sites. Sodwana Bay is 4 km away, and The Lighthouse Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is 5 km away. Free parking and accessible parking are available. There is no public transport, so you will need a car.

The front desk is open 24 hours. Staff can arrange tours and activities, and guests without a car have been driven to the beach and off-site excursions. Daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and luggage storage are on offer. Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant area. Babysitting or child services are available, and the lodge has meeting or banquet facilities. Safety deposit boxes and 24-hour security with CCTV are on site.
